There comes a time
When one must say,
A few caring words.
People cannot keep going on
Along their merry way,
And not be so inclined.
Life is way too short,
Not to let others know,
That sometimes words do matter.
Choices are made,
Right or wrong,
But lives are changed even so.
A word here and there
To let a loved one know,
Just how much you care.
Common knowledge,
May be enough,
But why not tell them so.
Too many lives are lost
Because they do not hear
A loving word here or there.
It only takes a minute
To say a few caring words,
And it will make you feel better too.
Oft times we forget,
In our busy days,
To give a little of our lives.
You must take a moment
To savor relationships,
And you will receive as well.
A smile will do wonders,
To help a loved one overcome
Any trauma they might be going thru.
Give of yourself
And you will see,
Just how much you too will receive.
Words of encouragement,
Words of joy and wisdom,
And don't forget those words of love.
You may not know it,
But there might be someone
Out there who needs those words.
If you give of yourself,
Those loving words,
You can help change the world.
Attitudes will be different
From a few caring words,
And give hope to this world of ours.
So spread those words
Among your family and friends,
And change a life or two.
You will be surprised
How much it will matter,
To someone needy out there.
