A night like any other night,
Breezes blowing through my hair.
Walking slowly along the way,
Feeling sad with each step.
Wanting only to cry,
But didn't dare.
Cause they would know
What was in my heart.
Pride wouldn't let me
Admit that I was afraid,
So terribly alone
I wanted to die.
Then I looked up
And saw your face.
And I knew right away
that this was right.
My heart skipped a beat,
My wall tumbled down.
No one else has ever
Affected me this way.
You took my hand
And led me away.
I went into your arms
And we danced all night.
Our lips touched so sweetly,
And made my heart
melt completely.
My eyes met your's
And I could feel the hope.
And for the first time,
I felt alive.
You spoke my name,
And I knew it to be true,
That this time
It was Love.
The kind of Love
That lasts forever.
