"The Fall Of Our Lives"
In the fall of our lives,
We look at each day anew.
For time grows shorter,
With each and every year.

The years seem to fly by,
Not waiting for new adventures.
So we take each year,
And cherish it wholly.

We love each other,
As best we can.
Not taking for granted,
There will be another chance
To say "I love you" again.

In the fall of our lives,
We make sure our eyes are open.
We want to see and hear,
Everything we can.

We try to cherish our children
And our grandchildren,
In a way that is good.
Because we know,
That time passes not slow at all.

When our children don't visit,
It makes us sad.
But we realize they are too busy,
To give us the time we need.

We hope that some day,
Our children will know,
Just how much we love them,
And wish they would visit more.

In the fall of our lives,
There's not much time left.
Our winters will be here,
Before we know it has come.

We want to share,
This fall of our lives,
With all our family and friends.
We want to be able,
To still have some fun,
Before the fall of our lives,
Turn into the winter of our lives.
