"The End Or Not"

I have seen innocent times,

When I was young,

And life was much easier

Than it is today.

Or was it because I was young

And did not see,

What was happening

All around the world.

As a child I was protected

From the evil that was;

My parents blinded me

With only their own worries.

Today is much different,

As our children are involved

In today's media bombardments,

And opens their eyes to all.

Is it no wonder they see evil

That dwells all around them,

When we no longer

Protected our children?

God has been almost erased

From television and radio;

He has even been maligned

As being an extraterrestrial.

How sad that some have become

So hard hearted of late.

Their way of thinking

Is not what God wants.

No wonder this world is giving up,

And no longer appreciates us;

Even Mother Nature is angry,

As well she should be.

Wake up and see what we've done!

How long do you think

That God will tolerate

This world as it is now?

I am afraid

As well as you should be.

I pray I go to heaven

Before this world ends.

Is there enough time left,

Before the apocalypse,

For us to repent our sins

And believe there is a God?

If we pray hard enough,

Maybe God will let us stay.

If strife and wars end,

Maybe He will end His anger.

The end, I think is up to us.

If we turn our backs to evil,

And concentrate on God,

And everything He stands for.

Remember what God did for us;

He sacrificed His only son,

So we would be forgiven our sins.

This is no lie

If you truly believe!
