Many things come to mind,
As I am sure must at this time.
I can never think of them all;
There are just too many to remember.
Being alive is in the top ten,
And using up this space I'm in.
Having a roof over my head,
So I won't get wet too many times.
Food is good I'm sure you know,
Cause anyone can see I eat well.
I've been thru some rough times,
But I'm stronger because of it.
To pat myself on the back;
I am not in the poorest class.
I have everything I need,
And most of what I want.
I don't have very many friends,
But those I do have I cherish.
I still have my dear mother;
For that I'm so very glad.
My husband and I are still together,
Even after twenty one years or so.
My children stil love me,
At least I think they do.
And let's not forget the grandkids,
Who I adore so very much.
Even my step-children and their's,
Are in my thoughts often.
All that's neither here nor there,
If it weren't for one certain entity.
He made it possible for my being,
And allowing me to stay sane.
He is not anyone to take lightly;
For He's the one who caused us all.
God is in my heart always,
And I'm thankful for that.
I can see Him in everything,
And everywhere I look.
I thank God for every day,
And the blessings He bestowes us.
