"Stress Of Dreams"
It is the hour before dawn That sleep is the soundness; Yet dreams will always precede The waking of the body.
Some dreams are good While others are nightmares. Even so they remain in limbo Till the mind is alert.
Most dreams are remembered But some are forgotten immediately. Good ones leave a sweet memory While others are dark and lonely.
Some say that it is what we eat Before going to sleep; Others say it is how we live our lives That make up our dreams.
Whichever the cause They are only dreams, And should be treated as such, And not let them rule our lives.
Those who dream recurringly Think of them as omens. Maybe they are instinctual Or some extra perception.
A dream should not be examined Lest it may bring much stress. Leave that stress alone Or else go mad with it.
With the way the world is these days, Stress is always there. But if a dream is bothersome, Stress is worsened.
So bring the mind in concert With the swaying of the tree; Relief with soon follow And bad dreams may be foregotten.
