As the sun hides behind clouds, With flashes of blinding light, It ignites thunderous booms, And cries great tears of rain.
The quietness follows a storm, So intensely deafening, And remembers the stillness, As before beginning the end.
As if it never stopped, The storm begins again, With an anger let loose, Of it's chains of anquish.
Just as life begins with a bang, So it ends with a stillness, That is as deafening as thunder, And a flash of light is extinguished.
When a body loses life, And leaves behind many memories, Of a life well lead, Loved ones remembers that essence.
Tales are told of happy times, And tears shed turn to laughter, And hearts begin to heal, As remembrances continue on.
Soon the clouds will part, And allow the sun to again shine, As the soul of the departed, Is lead to Heaven.
God has let a storm happen, To allow His sadness to show. Not because a loved has gone from us, But for the loss we bear.
We say "farewell" at last, To our dearly departed, And cry for our loss, And the emptyness we hold.
We will remember her vitality, And the love she has shown. We will never forget her laughter, And smiles she has given.
Even tho her soul is in Heaven, Her past shines on in our hearts, And we will never forget, The life force she exhibited.
In remembrance to her, We shed our sadness and tears, One last shower of rain, And say "goodbye" to Diane.
God has called her Home.
