"Relief'
There's a time in one's life,
When you take a deep breath,
And exhale with great relief.
Such events may be witnessed,
As good or bad omens.

Life can bring about
Any number of things;
Traumas to one's psyche,
Or something opposite.
Relief almost always comes when it's over.

Many times in my life,
I have had such occurances,
As most everybody has had.
I do not dwell on the traumas,
As they bring sad memories to mind.

Instead I perfer to remember
All the good things in my life;
Things that bring a smile to my face,
And sometimes makes me giggle
With such gusto.

Sighs of relief comes in many forms,
As many of you already know;
Relief after the teen years,
Relief of finding the "right" love,
And relief after child birth.

Those are just the basic ones
And should never be forgotten.
But some reliefs come unawares,
That occur only too often;
One could almost say "awsome".

Such times are without warning;
When a fall on your bottom,
Hurts so bad it makes you laugh,
Or when someone trips over something
And lands in a funny way to elicit giggles.

Those are just examples
Of the unawares,
And there's always a sigh
Of such a great relief,
Knowing everything is really ok afterwards.

I could go on and on
About many other things,
But the imagination can lend,
All of you an insight
To your own life.

Needless to say it's always better,
To look at the good things
And not the bad,
And give yourself a great big
Sigh of relief!!!
