"Rain Dancing"
The sun is warm today,
And shines with a smooth softness.
A few clouds adorn the sky,
Like pillows for sleepy heads.
No harsh winds are blowing now,
Cause Mother Nature is sleeping.

Beyond the horizon,
I see a few gray clouds.
It looks like rain is coming,
To give the ground a drink today.
The Weatherman says not to worry,
It will  just  be a nice slow shower.

It won't be like it was before,
When a storm passed by my door.
These clouds are not dark and angry,
But soft and  quite fluffy.
They give unto the Earth a drink,
In which to quinch its hungry thirst.

When this soft and quiet rain does come,
All the trees, flowers and birds will rejoice.
Ah.... the smell of warm fresh rain,
Tickles my nose and my fancy too.
There's nothing so grand in nature,
As to the enjoyment of a nice soft rain.

I won't stay inside this time,
I'll go out to watch or maybe take a walk.
I love to walk in the rain,
When  it's nice and slow and warm.
I'll  reach out my hand and hold a few drops,
And maybe I will sip a little taste too.

Oh rain......  come to me,
For I am ready now you see.
I want to feel those warm drops,
Upon my upturned smiling face.
And just maybe I'll be inclined,
To do a little bit of rain dancing too.
