"Ode To Sharon"
Dreary days of cloudy skies
And freezing rain,
Turning into snow
That winds scour into drifts,
And hides almost everything,
Brightening the night almost into day.

Just as the snow
Turns everything pristine,
And children turn disaster into fun,
Life turns love and joy
Into sadness not well forgotten,
Nor even wonting to forget
A loved one going "Home"  to God.

There must be days in Heaven
When seasons change,
So that people there
Can enjoy the beauty of it all.
No storms or clouds,
Just brilliant colors galore
And snow of virgin white.

Even tho she has moved on
To a better place than this,
She will be missed terribly
Forever and a day.
She no longer suffers,
Her terrible fears and pains,
For now she's with God in Heaven.

We take knowledge of this fact,
But we mourn just the same,
And let tears show our sadness.
So when the weather turns,
And it snows again and again,
We will remember the day
When Sharon went "Home".

There must be days in Heaven
When seasons change.
So that people there
Can enjoy the beauty of it all.
No storms or clouds..
Just brilliant colors galore
And snow of virgin white.

Goodbye Sharon..
Have fun in God's snow.
