"My Inner Garden"
I have a place that stands real tall,
It grows when nurtured well.
The choices grow within themselves,
Once planted, watered, I can tell.

I cultivate what I can see,
I weed it out real good.
I fertilize when I have need.
I tend my garden as I should.

My field is planted for us all,
Not just the one or two.
I'll feed you with the words of love,
My gift to all of you.

I've given seeds to all of you,
To help you grow with me.
In hopes  that all of you will know,
How life so precious sure can be.

Last night I planted patience,
That we could learn to live.
An not be so abrupt with friends,
And we'd learn how to give.

A little of our time today,
When someone needs us then.
We stop, we listen, that's a key,
We seem so hurried here again.

I also planted hope,
For all of us to dream.
We wonder how our lives will be,
Without this so it seems.

Our hopes and dreams, a part of us,
When what we want is lost.
Remember what you have today,
Not much to some, to some it costs.

I planted light for you tonight,
So that you all would see.
That I am here to show the way,
I'm here and still just me.

For all of you that have, have not,
I bloom within your heart.
I'll be the blessings that you lack,
Believe in me, we'll never part.
