As I remember back years ago,
I realize something very special.
Memories of times past,
And the wonderful things you shared.
Not just giving birth to me,
But the love you gave as well.
You sacrificed so much for me,
But expected nothing in return.
Some days were rough I know,
But you came thru them all.
Your courage and love shinned thru,
And brought meaning to my life.
No one else on this Earth,
Can anyone mean so much to me.
You've been my guiding light,
When my life was too much to handle.
You gave me support,
When I needed it the most.
Then you gave me your love,
Even tho I did not ask for it.
So believe me when I say,
I will always love you come what may.
But on this special day,
I honor you most lovingly.
