"Mixed Up Weather" (A letter to family and friends.)

Hi everyone, Sitting here at this sometimes complicated machine, wearing shorts and a sleeveless blouse, and chilling just a bit. It's damp, foggy and just a little cool outside. I'm wondering where Spring went. And my sinuses are bothering me again. It rained an awfully lot yesterday, but stopped for just a bit. Hubby and I went out to pick strawberries, but it started to rain again and we had to quit. We ran inside just as it poured down again and the wind began to blow. Seems we're getting the rain this month That we shoulda got last month. I think Mother Nature is just a tad confused. I wonder what next month will bring. I have a feeling it will be hot and muggy, since last year's summer was kinda mild. I wonder too what this old world of ours Will bring for us in the future. Guess I worry too much about such things; and it causes those little creases across my forehead. Alas and alack, as they say, it is not for me to contemplate. If we believe in God and His son Jesus, which I certainly do, and hope you do too, we will be saved I pray. Love to all, Jann Newland ©June 2005
