Friends are a special part of my life,
Without them I would be very lonely.
Even tho I've not met most of you face to face,
I still feel I know each and every one.
You see, you friends of mine,
I met you all on-line.
Strange you might think,
But tis true just the same.
There have been many poems,
Written about on-line friends.
But somehow they never really,
Touched that inner feeling that I have.
In the beginning,
I was so computer illiterate.
Many of you helped me,
To learn what I needed to know.
As time went by so fine,
I made more and more friends.
And in the return of my love,
I taught others what I had learned.
Now I want to take this time,
To thank each and every one.
For without your help and guidance,
I would never have known such giving love.
You helped me in more ways than one,
And I am so grateful for your tender care.
Without this friendship of your's,
I think I would be lonely still.
God has surely blessed,
Each and every one of you.
And you have given me,
A new world to find and explore.
I cannot express thoroughtly enough,
How much I care for you all.
You've given me something,
To look forward to every day.
So in return for your love,
I have written this poem.
My hopes being purely simple,
That you accept my love for you.
May this special day,
of Valentine's and things,
Bring each of you a happiness,
And all that wishes bring.
In all conversations to come,
I hope and pray we remain loving friends.
