In the days that come and go, As they always do, I look upon the sun And hope for the warmth it brings.
As the weeks quickly span on, As they seem to just fly by, I gaze upon the moon And hope it stays where it is.
In the years that pass, As they seem to rush quickly now, I stare upon the stars And hope they never lose their shine.
In everything I look upon, As if they were brand new, I watch with wander and awe And wish things stayed that way.
In everyone I love so much, As they go about their ways, I see them carry on their lives And I pray for their longevity.
Whatever life may bring, To me and mine, I will always remember What God has bestowed.
