"Hang In There"
Somewhere in my future,
There's a purpose to my life.
But until that time comes,
I'll make the best of what I've got.

I don't suppose you would know,
Just what makes life tick.
But until an answer comes,
I'll just hang around a bit.

Time is passing a little too fast for me,
And I know there's not much left.
My numbers are tallying up,
And my body is wearing down.

Life has given me so much,
And I don't mind some of it.
I take it as it comes,
Whether bad or good.

The decisions I have made,
Are what I am today.
I hope I've done well,
In God's Holy eyes.

I have shared many things;
Love, hope and more.
Knowing that someone I know,
Has benefited from such wisdom.

I have tried to lead a good life,
The way God wishes.
I am not perfect by any means,
But I do try very hard.

So until my name is called,
To enter into heaven,
I will keep on being me,
As best I know how.

I know that somwhere out there,
There are people just like me.
My advise to all of them,
Is "hang in there" and be GOOD.
