"Dreams Of Things"
I dream of things
That can never be,
But I dream of them
Almost every day.

Whether it be of riches
Or maybe even fame,
Still I dream
Of them anyway.

Days go by so very fast
That my dreams
Seem so out of reach,
But they forever stay.

It's as if my mind
Somehow can't tell
Reality from trueness
Even tho I pray.

Finally I realize
That dreams are just that;
A need of something
Far greater than just play.

So I plan my life
In ordinary things
Of what I think I should be
And stop worrying thru my way.

It is said so very simply
A person shouldn't worry of the future;
That God knows of us
And we should not sway.

That is alright with me you see
As long as I am free.
For I can still dream my dreams
As long as it's in a good way.
