"Clipping Coupons"
I sit here clipping coupons,
From the Sunday Newspaper.
Thinking that this one is good,
Or this one might be nice,
Or this one I can definately use.

I sit here sorting those coupons,
Into catagories.
I place them behind the little tabs,
Provided in my little coupon purse.

I put that little coupon purse
Into my shoulder bag,
Until the next time
I go to the Grocery Store.

When I go to the Grocery Store,
I can take out my little coupon purse.
I'll be ready with my coupons,
To save a few pennies here and there.

I sit here clipping coupons,
From the Sunday Newspaper.
Thinking maybe this one will be good,
Or that one would be nice,
Or I can sure use that one.

I sit here sorting my coupons,
Into their little catagories.
And then I put them into
my little coupon purse,
So I can use them
The next time I shop.

Then I stop and think,
A little dismayed I am.
The last time I went to the store,
I forgot to use my coupons
for those items there.

I can see when I sort again,
Those other coupons have
gone out of date.
And I think "Oh well, I'll be sure
And use the new ones next time".

To save pennies here and there,
One needs coupons it is clear.
So we clip coupons because,
We think it will help our
own economy.

So I sit here clipping coupons,
From the Sunday Newspaper.
Saying to myself,
This one is good,
Or I could really use that one...

Wait!
Have I been here before?
Oh Well,
I'll be ready next time.
