"An Anniversary Prayer"
Dear Lord...
I know that sometimes,
They don't see eye to eye,
But at least they are still together,
And not all alone.

In days like today,
It's not easy being an American,
But I pray that they will survive,
To be so very free.

I know they have the inalienable right,
To celebrate any ole' thing they want.
So let them raise their arms,
And yell with glee.

Let them shout to the world,
That they've gained another year,
In spite of all that life throws their way,
They are still together and
I pray they always will be.

Let them tell the world,
That they are still married,
And I pray them to be forever.
And with Your loving help,
Another year will come their way again.

Amen
